The Mark of the Beast

Revelation 13:

“16And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name”.

Although this prophecy is documented in Revelation 13, it actually takes place in the fifth seal prophecy of Revelation 6. Given that there is the possibility that we are about to see the third seal prophecy fulfilled, a warning is in order.

It may seem fanciful to anyone stumbling on this post that the enforced marking of “civil society” by a totalitarian regime on a global scale could take place but if at some time in the future the reader is faced with the prospect of taking a tattoo, brand or chip, the truth of this prophecy will be self-evident.

The forehead is reserved by God to mark those that belong to him. This is shown some time later in the trumpet prophesies when 144,000 people in the nation of Israel are marked:

2And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,

3Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

Satan will use a mark on the forehead or right hand to force allegiance to him.

Anytime prior to the mark of the beast (Satan’s mark) being taken, the invitation of God to eternal life is open. The moment the mark of the beast is received, the invitation is closed, the door to eternity is shut. You have sold your soul.

The choice will be yours: Jesus or Satan; eternal life or eternal destruction. For the right to buy and sell, will you sell your soul?

Jesus’ case for your redemption and refusal to take the mark of the beast is this, from Mark 8:

36For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

37Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
